2026 - 2027 Proposed League Dates

As you are hopefully aware Easter next year will be on Sunday 28th March which, when coupled with how Saturdays fall and dates reserved for the England Hockey Championships, presents a problem in fitting in 22 weekends between the end of September and the Easter weekend.

Based on feedback received through our Club survey undertaken earlier in the year, we've come to the conclusion that the "least bad" option is to start the season a week earlier than normal on 12th September in order to allow us to be finished prior to the Easter break rather than have to schedule games following a two week break in April. 

We understand this may pose a problem for some Clubs therefore we are happy to be flexible with scheduling of this first round of fixtures, if both Clubs are in agreement we are happy that matches are re-scheduled to any day up to Sunday 1^st November (the second weekend of the half term break), if neither Club are participating in the EH championships Saturday 24^th October or Saturday 13th December may be used. Requests to move these fixtures must be received by 1^st September. 

We understand this is not ideal, and we are happy to work with Clubs to try and resolve any issues.
