East County Junior Competitions 2026

Over the last couple of months, 5 different county masters tournaments have been held across the East.

Our thanks to those involved in hosting them at Bedford, Ipswich – East Suffolk, Norwich City, Saffron Walden and Southgate.

Congratulations to the winners:

Ladies Under 50s – Essex

Ladies Over 50s – Hertfordshire

Open / Mens 35s to 45s – Norfolk

Open / Mens 45s to 55s – Norfolk

Open / Mens Over 55s – Essex 

All 6 East counties took part in at least three of the tournaments and Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk each took part in all 5.

In terms of ‘overall winners’ – effectively via the average place in each tournament – the county coming out on top was Essex, with Hertfordshire a close second and Norfolk in third.
