East Hockey Ltd AGM Date

The East Hockey AGM will be held on Thursday 20 August 2026 at 7pm. We have delayed it from our earlier plans to hold it in July to allow for the nominations process below. These provide opportunities for people to volunteer to get involved in East Hockey activity.

 In accordance with our Articles, East Hockey would like to invite nominations for a number of elected roles to the Board and Chairs of the functions.

 This is a call for nominations for the below elected roles (with any relevant votes being held at our AGM):

• Vice Chair (Director role)
• Operations Director
• Chair of Junior League Committee
• Chair of Adult League Committee
• Chair of Masters Committee

We have a number of appointed roles also which can be found below (appointed jointly by East Area and England Hockey):

• Area Disciplinary Administrator
• Assistant Area Disciplinary Administrators

We welcome nominations to any of the above from across the East Area. The nominee needs to fill in the form and be supported by 2 member clubs/organisations.

 The Calling Notice will be sent out in due course along with the AGM Agenda and a voting link for members to vote.

 Membership and League Fees – with the AGM taking place in August, we wanted to make all members aware of the intention of the Board around membership and league costs to aid financial planning. The Board’s intention – that will be put to the AGM for a vote - is to keep the fees the same as 25/26 season:

Membership:

£16 per team for club membership

£10 per team for Junior or Occasional Club

£0 for EHO

£0 for Sub-Areas

League Fees:

£16 per team for Adult and Masters

£16 per team for Junior League
